Cuba Libre

Rum, Coke, and a Dash of Revolution

Ah, the Cuba Libre—proof that freedom tastes best with a splash of rum and a twist of lime. Originally crafted with Bacardi, we prefer to add a drop of irony and use Havana Club 7 Year instead. Born in the tumultuous days of Cuban independence, this classic cocktail is a rebellious mix of rich rum, refreshing cola, and a zesty lime kick. It’s not just a drink; it’s a toast to liberty, a sip of history, and a party in a glass. So, raise your glass and say “Salud!” to the spirit of independence and the timeless charm of the Cuba Libre.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Havana Club 7 Year
  • 4 oz cola
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Lime wedge for garnish

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Pour in the Havana Club 7 Year and fresh lime juice.
  3. Top up with cola and give it a gentle stir.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge.
